I'm Morgan, AKA Reloaxa (or ReloaxaThePinkWater or simply Relo).

I'm your sleepy KitKat God who aspires to be animator, artist, character designer, concept artist, writer & (occasional) music producer/singer-songwriter hailing from England, UK. I'm also planning to be a streamer/Vtuber.

I don't make art - I make my own universe (The KitKat Verse) where I can embrace my creativity & ideas, whilst escaping realty for a short while. I love to be experimental, often trying out many styles & techniques, one day hoping to find my very own. what I love to do most of all is design characters, as well as develop their stories, personalities & worlds. I often writes about characters going through mental struggles & tough times whilst trying their best to stay strong & succeed in their goals. as well as illustrating, I'm also looking to work in the animation industry to create my own animated shows.

When I'm not working on stuff, I normally like to unwind & listen to music, play video games, watch TV, surf the web or have a (not-so) little sleep. my special interests are music, horror films, anime & above all, Disney (I particularly love The Little Mermaid & Kim Possible).

FAQ

How long have you been drawing?
Like most people, I've been drawing since I could hold a pencil & as a child, I loved art, drawing & generally getting creative, it was a huge passion of mine. however, for a long time, I didn't think about improving or being serious because i wasn't sure if I was or would ever be talented enough. when I was 18, because of one humanoid girl drawing I made, I started thinking about doing it seriously & then, at 21, i officially decided I was going to be a LOT more serious & try to improve. I've still got quite a long way to go; improving my skills & getting better is my biggest priority right now, as I'm really passionate to unleash my creativity.
What do tools & programs you use to draw?
I use a Wacom Cintiq 16 & primarily use Clip Studio Paint. I used to use Procreate on my iPhone with my finger & I also used to use a Veikk A30 drawing tablet, which I've used in programs such as Photoshop, Krita & Autodesk. I'd also like to try out programs like ToonBoom Harmony & Adobe Illustrator. I've also considered an iPad (also for Procreate). As for traditional art, it varies. i love using many different tools. I also formerly animated using FlipaClip, but I'm currently looking for other programs I could use.
Are you self-taught or did you go to art school?
While i did take some art classes in secondary school, I'd definitely consider myself self-taught, although I do have a BTEC Level 1 diploma in Creative Media Production, which technically includes animation studies & a bit of digital art & graphic design, but I didn't attend art school.
What inspires your works?
Mainly anime & Disney, but also music, nature, the world surrounding me, my childhood & my own self-being. I'm all for colour, light & atmosphere.
Who are your personal art influences?
Yamio, Pernille Ørum, Amei Zhao, ChrissaBug, Cyarin, Devin Elle Kurtz, KucingKecil-Cabin, pasoputi, tasia.ms, Death and Milk, bluebiscuits, Loish, Fiyunae, Miv4t & Qinni (rest in peace).
How did you come up with the name Reloaxa?
It's a combination of two words - 'relo' & 'AXA'. AXA is a company & I saw an advert for it on the TV & there was a song playing called 'Little Things Meana Lot' by Little Shoes Big Voice, which i really liked a lot & also, the company's slogan was 'investment for the future', which made me hope that doing what I love doing can earn me enough money not only to look after myself, but also help my loved ones & boost my career further, so i can do a lot more art & animation. i then found the word 'relo', which is a slang term meaning a family member & I consider my works to be like a big family. so, I figured combining the two would make it even better. that's how the Reloaxa name was born.
